Khadijatu (Khadi) Jackson is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Human Services and a minor in Race, Equity & Culture in Society. Khadi is currently a J.D. candidate and in the future hopes to work in youth and urban development by taking a familial approach and working with families. She has aspirations of getting a Master’s in Social Work and a J.D. in Family Law. Her goal is to own a family service center that provides a multitude of services to individuals/families, from counseling, legal advice, etc.
Fatu Jackson is the mother of Khadi Jackson, originally from Monrovia, Liberia. In 2004, Fatu and Khadi migrated to the United States in order to seek better opportunities. While back home, Fatu worked with the International Red Cross as an account assistant, helping the finance director with all account related activities. In the states, she served as a Parliamentarian for her high school St. Peter Claver’s (located in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County Liberia) alumni association board. Ms. Jackson received a Masters of Science in Management from Wilmington University and worked as an Investment Banking and Pricing Analyst as well as Human Resources Operations Specialist III for JP Morgan Chase. Ms. Jackson is currently the Program Director for First Choice Home & Community Services located in Collingdale, PA where she wears many hats: including but not limited to overseeing case responsibilities, providing guidance and supervision to staff, attending placement stability meetings, etc.
Nayamah Kolliegbo is from Willingboro, NJ. She is the Founder and CEO of Honeycomb Poetics, a nonprofit organization centered on youth empowerment through poetry and the creative arts. Nayamah is a current MBS candidate at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Nayamah values mentorship and she aspires to continue work with the youth. Her goal is to impact underrepresented communities and to be who she needed when she was younger.
Nywel Cheaye is a senior at Vassar College pursuing a bachelor of arts in Science, Technology & Society. On campus, she serves as president of the Christian Fellowship, an advocate for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, as well as an intern at Exodus Transitional Community for formerly incarcerated people. Nywel is deeply interested in medical anthropology through exploring different cultural practices and social determinants of health worldwide. She hopes to practice law as a public interest attorney focusing on issues of medical ethics and race-based discrimination in the medical sphere.
Oluwaseyi (Olu) Osinubi is a Senior at the University of Delaware (UD) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems with a minor in Business Administration. Following graduation, she will be joining the Alternatives Client Platform team at BlackRock. Apart from academics, Olu values service and has been very active in her church, school, and local community since a young age. A social butterfly, Olu also values her friendships, building connections and documenting her experiences via social media. Olu has a bright vision for her future including entering the technology industry as a corporate analyst and ultimately leveling up to a leadership position within a firm.
Taslyn Ware is a senior majoring in Sales and Marketing at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama. She is a volunteer at the Tuskegee Legacy Museum and is an enthusiast of art conservation and history. Taslyn is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Underclassman Leadership Academy, Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society, NAACP, and an ambassador for the Tuskegee University Student Engagement Program. She is excited to grow within this opportunity and is serving as the director of marketing for Dear Self!
